I know I’m a troubled man but I’m learning how to walk and how to stand avoiding the funerals of all my futures and my pasts why won’t you discover me I’m singing you a song can you hear me hollow grave you know my name you call for me you offer peace shake the rust from me I will go though the skies are falling I will sing I hold the light in my teeth I bite down hard let it bleed into me down to the river to see if water on my snake skin will make me clean (and) I have been waiting for days the water is gone now we wait for rain hollow grave you know my name you call for me shake the rust from me I will go though the skies are falling I will sing my heart a barren landscape but my bones remember rising from the dust my hollow grave I walk away shake the rust from me I will go though the skies are falling I will sing

the mad night calls for me it calls for me (and) i follow as it leads as it leads this halo around my neck around my neck (and) my knees fall they’re coming down it’s coming down i lost my way some time ago i’m coming home i’ve no where to go i embraced the clouds but when i soared it rained i’ll come back down i’m on my way we can drink and sing about and sing about how i would rob a bank you know i would to feed you and care for you i’d watch you grow to raise you but not like this not like this sometimes i fall sometime i’ll crawl my eyes are constantly searching for something more than these empty hands i lost my way sometime ago i’m coming home i’ve no where to go i embraced the clouds but when i soared it rained i’ll come back down i’m on my way

all I have is you when the day is done all I have is you when the morning comes over the city lights they sink away satellites fall like rain the night aflame light towers crashing down a quiet sea slow motion clarity finally holding you I will not forget that grass grew here that all the children wept holding you I will not regret that all this ends and I’m alone with you a tidal wave is rising to wash it all away an instant tells the story we read it either way in absence comes a shadow all colors turn to grey the final breath of vision we watch it fade away holding you my last memory our crooked bodies sing a melody the ash and water mix washes over me the blood and soil mix washes over me you and I become one

wear your bullseye then run and hide all our memory a sinking tide constant motion no new scenery a fire at the popcorn factory all our memory up in smoke come and find me here first the glory then the trauma write it all down first the glory then the trauma we all fall down white as shock black as stillness in the light we appear grey all the alarm bells they should be ringing but we’ve tuned them out all the alarm bells they should be ringing but we’ve cast them out all the alarm bells they should be ringing but we’re fading out all the alarm bells…

this always happens my spine pulled out for all to see it’s how you found me nothing to offer you but this mess the air around us refuses to let us breathe so we sleep take this armor off of me I was never ready to fight this time it’s for real trying to hold it back I fail I must leave you here no one asked you to come with me chasing falling stars nothing to offer you but myself nothing here let’s fall down into madness hold back your will and you know that this was all for love but you take what you can’t give back so you take the mistake and you know that this was all for love but you take what you can’t give back so you take the mistake and you know…

swimming in sea of stone come up for air my language has dried up and let you drown a martyr for the words I never found look away acknowledge the setting sun it won’t stop for no one in my mind in my mind there is a reckoning a new beginning what I knew I let go and I fell through stained in green I was made new to be seen all I could do was run till the morning sun
9.
when will I begin and when will it end a vision of myself I re-imagine tonight I’m new I’m a storm I’ll make it rain when you need it most a light fell upon my hand at my desk these white walls singing out for memories to hang night falls we’re warm inside to be alone with you tonight I’m new I’m a storm I’ll make it rain when you need it most I’m not real I’m yours to mold an open road to guide you back home what’s left to hide I’m on your side the way was never clear but we’re here

fog fell on his eyes lost his name lost his way he went into the woods to find some truth something new he spoke up at the sky no words came out no words came down
